Not everyone can get a preferred rating in life insurance, but the best way to make sure you have the most realistic quote for them, you need to prescreen and let us Quick Quote the case before you take an application. Special Service Agency can Quick Quote your case by presenting clients details to about a dozen of our underwriters to see where the case best fits and get a feel for the rating class and premium based on the information provided. Just click on the Quick Quote Questionaire box below for a simple one page questionaire you can fill out while your client is on the phone setting the appointment. Get us that information and we will get you a tentative offer from one or all of our companies.
Special Service Agency also has access to a library of more detailed questionaires for situations where more details will be needed, such as Diabetes, Prostate Cancer, Depression, Breast Cancer, Coronary Artery Disease or Aviation. PARTNERSHIP TRAINING
If you plan on having Long Term Care as part of your portfolio of products, be aware that you MUST be Partnership Certified to sell these products. Make sure you have taken the 8-hour NAIC Partnership Traning Course. If you have already taken the 8-hour course, keep in mind you must take the 4-hour refresher course within two years of completing the initial course. Transamerica Expands the TOP Program
The Transamerica Opportunity Program, TOP, has expanded to include their new 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year termUL products. The program gives you, the producer, the opportunity to get your client additional life insurance based on a policy with a minimum face amount of $100,000 that has been placed within the last five years, and keep the underwriting class, even if it was not written through Transamerica. Your client can apply for up to $1 million in additional coverage through this program with minimal underwriting. IMPORTANT ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING UPDATE
We are starting to get notifications from several of our carriers that producers will now be required to have AML training if they plan to sell any Universal or Whole Life products. You must have this training and any refresher that has been offered. CLICK HERE for AML training or to see if you have any updates that need to be completed.

IMPORTANT LONG TERM CARE INFORMATION
As of September 1, 2007, Virginia has joined many other states in offering Long Term Care Partnership Plans. To sell these plans you must have completed NAIC's 8 hours of Long Term Care Partnership Continuing Education Course. As of 2009 you will also need to have at least four hours of continuing edcuation refresher courses to continue Long Term Care sales. Click on these links if you would like more information on the Virginia Partnership Program or would like to take the online course.
Virginia has also set up a website for its residents so they can see what the Partnership Program entails. If you would like to see what they are seeing you can go HERE for more.
If you have already completed the 8 hour course, remember you must complete the 4 hour CE Partnership Refresher Course within 24 months of the date you received the Partnership Certification to maintain your certification. You do not have until the end of the 2009-2010 biennium as was previously understood. If you completed the 8 hour CE Partnership training in September 2007, for example, you must complete the 4 hour refresher course by September 2009.
